Carbon Monixide alarm went off?

Ok, well, i was making eggs on my gas stove, and, when they were done, right when i was about to turn the stove off, my carbon monixide alarm went off. I turned the stove off, and then i went and pressed the button the carbon monixide alarm to turn it off. Now, i opened up the door to get some fresh air, im home alone and im 13, but i do know about the dangers of carbon monixide. I do feel a tad light headed, but im pretty sure thats just psychological. Right now the carbon monixide alarm is flashing green for "operate" and not red for "Alarm" Now, everything seems fine, but im still a tad worried, just incase it did go off because it really did detect carbon monoxide, or if it was just from the stove, but yea. Think everythings alright? And if not, what should i do?
